A Big Thank You
On Friday 4th December, 89 people of all ages braved the cold to spend the night under the stars for CATH's Big Sleep Out.
The event was a huge success and even two hours of rain could not dampen the spirits of those participating.
We would like to thank everyone for their support, not only Sleep Out participants, but also those who have kindly donated money over the last few weeks. We do not yet have a final total for the Sleep Out 2009, but hope to announce it in our spring edition of the CATH newsletter.
Our sponsored Sleep Out gives people just a small taste of what it feels like to sleep rough, with nothing but sleeping bag, newspaper, cardboard and a few blankets to call home for the night.
This year's event takes place on Friday December 3rd, at the Friary Car Park, Grosvenor Street, Chester.
We hope you enjoyed the 2009 Sleep Out and look forward to seeing you all again at the 2010 event!
